Raining Again...

Mom,

It sounds like you all had a super fun thanksgiving week! I cant believe how fast this past few months has gone by! YES, I did get your package. It didn't cost us anything to pick it up because it was to a P.O. Box! Woo hoo! I haven't opened it yet, but i'll open int after we go shop for groceries in an hour or two.

OH!!!! I was wondering........Can you please send me my Ukulele?? I would love to have it to play on after a day of hard work, and for the families around here. If you could send it for me, and be sure to put FRAGILEon it (I would probably cry if it arrived broken....), I would LOVE IT!! Please send me my chord book too! (It should be in there under the ukulele itself.)

Tell Rylee that it's bad to work on the Sabbath......I do not approve....

Transfer calls came....I am staying in Calliaqua with E. George for one more transfer! Woo hoo! Last week was a good one. We worked really hard to hit all of our goals for the week, and we set some pretty high goals! WE came just short of reaching all of them. The only reason we didn't hit all of them was beacuse it poured rain this week! I have experienced now 2 Hurricanes on my mission! The streets were flooded, houses got blown over, there was plenty mud, and we got soaked. Needless to say, we didn't see many people for a few days, because we were muddy and soaked, but we had fun tracting! We were jumping in puddles with little kids, and talking to anyone we saw by their houses. It was a fun week.

We actually got to celebrate thanksgiving on thursday too! There's a member here who lived in the U.S. for a long time, aned she invited all the missionaries on ST. V over for a big thanksgiving dinner. It wasn't really an "American" Thanksgiving, but we got to eat a lot of local food. It's a good thing i like the local food here.

I've been learning how to cook lots of the local food here, and am planning on bringing some food home when I come back so that I can cook some stuff for you. I'm pretty much a pro cook now. You would be proud of me mama.

Oh, I sent that package last week. It has a pair of leather sandals for RY, a thimble for KAM (Or LEX I cant remember who collects them...), A Rasta man Shot glass for COLEMAN, and a T-Shirt for LEXI (Or KAm...). I included some other misc things in there, like the Turbo (local known "Kool-aid"), some key chains, and a Kalabosh for you and Dad. The people here use the kalabosh (A hard shelled vegetable) as bowls to eat out of. I had a guy design one cool for you and I sent it in that package. Just make sure that the kids are happy with a present and remember that I love them.

Other than that....this week was pretty boring....I didn't take any pictures because of the rain....and I forgot my camera today to send you the pictures of Wailalabou Bay that we visited last week. I'll remember to bring it next week.

Something i've noticed....The mission is changing me....Scratch that....This gospel is changing me. I love it out here. I actually had a dream that I was with you and Dad in our Sunday clothes, and I looked down and noticed that my name tag wasn't there. I paniced in my dream and kept on saying "It cant be over yet, it cant be over yet!" Luckily I woke up, and realized that it was just Thursday, and I was excited to go out and work. :) I really care about the people I'm helping. I find myself worrying more about the members, the branch, and our investigators, than I do about P-Day, Letters, or people back home. I guess thats what was supposed to happen right? :)

I love you guys, and miss ya tons,. But there are too many people here in the West Indies that need afunctioning family and the gospel like we have! They need to hear the message that I am beginning to understand. Have fun, and be safe!

Elder Wilson

PS: PLEASE SEND MY UKULELE AS SOON AS POSSIBLE IF YOU CAN!! I WOULD LOVE TO HAVE IT OUT HERE!!!!!!

Thanks mama!!

Love ya
